The Waimate Rugby Club sadly wishes to pass on its deepest condolences to the Guyton Family on the devastating news of the passing of Billy Guyton (33).
Billy had showed the Waimate community that despite coming from a humble beginning you can make every post a winner. Guyton played as halfback for the Blues, Crusaders and Hurricanes and also represented the Māori All Blacks, Tasman and North Otago during his career.
He also turned out for Waimate Seniors when available from time to time and brought a professional attitude to those fortunate enough to play alongside him. Again our deepest sympathy to all of his family as there is never an easy way to deal with the passing of a loved one.
